This will be WISE‘s first function in Arvada. It will be a hybrid event, so you can attend in person or join the festivities with Zoom’s help. We will be enjoying a lavish tea with all the trimmings. At the library, tea and water will be provided by WISE, while the in-person attendees will be bringing tea “treats” of their choosing to share (enough for 12 will be just right). The Zoomers will be supplying their own eats and drinks.

Entertainment — This will be provided by the guests! Anyone is invited to present a short (4 to 5 minutes max) “member share” story. Please contact Sylvia Tracy-Doolos at president@wise-fhs.org to discuss your participation.

We will also have a book swap. Bring a WISE-country related book, DVD or magazine/journal and prepare to make some trades! So search your bookshelves for titles relating to genealogy, history, historical fiction, cooking, travel, etc.

Yes, there will be prizes! Plan to show up in your best party finery. Judging is sure to include Santa sweaters, Xmas headwear, jewelry and socks! There might also be a prize or two for the best holiday treat (homemade of course)!
