RECIPE EXCHANGE
Bring one copy of a recipe to share, and consider including a short description of how the recipe relates to your family and/or family gatherings. We will designate a space for the recipes, and people can take pictures of them, so you do not need to bring more than one copy.
WISE BINGO
1. Pick up a BINGO card and write your name at the top.
2. VERY IMPORTANT: FIRST, read all of your Bingo queries to see which ones you can say “yes” to. BINGO cards will have a variety of queries in a variety of locations.
3. Find others who can answer yes to one of the squares on your card. Have them write their first name in that space. This is your chance to say Hello to more of your WISE friends and have some fun!
4. Fill a row, column, or diagonal and bring your card to the coupon table to pick up a coupon for the door prizes.
OMG DNA
IMPORTANT PREPARATION – BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME!
- Bring a copy of your DNA percents. Make sure your name is not on the sheet that you bring.
- Bring in a picture of yourself of any age.
- Both items will be put in page protectors to keep them safe, but please take your own precautions. If you have digital versions of this information, you might want to just print out copies to bring to the party.
The Game:
1. Take an answer sheet and be sure to put your name on it.
Each DNA sheet will be labeled with a letter.
Each Picture will be labeled with a number.
2. On your answer sheet, you will put your guess to match the pictures with the results.
You will receive one ticket for providing pictures, one ticket for playing the game, and one ticket for every correct answer. (If there’s no name, there’s no tickets.) You will enter these tickets in the drawing to win a prize.
ANCESTOR LOTTERY
We all have an ancestor that looks like us. Let’s find out if everyone thinks so too!
IMPORTANT PREPARATION – BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME!
- Bring a picture of an ancestor you believe looks similar to you. No names should be on the picture.
- Bring in a picture of yourself around the same age as your ancestor in the photo. If you don’t have a picture of yourself at a similar age, any age is fine.
- Both photos will be put in page protectors to keep them safe, but please take your own precautions. If you have digital versions of these photos, you might just print them on regular paper in your printer.
