Our quarterly W.I.S.E. Words newsletter features original articles — some scholarly, others more like feature stories — about members’ family history, and research discoveries, book reviews, research resources in Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England, plus notes about cultural events in the Denver area.
The W.I.S.E. Words Newsletter is published on a quarterly basis thanks mainly to the efforts of our editor. Members are encouraged to submit articles, long or short, for inclusion in the newsletter. Author guidelines can be found here.

Newsletter Index
In 2016 we introduced the W.I.S.E Words Newsletter Index to provide fully searchable content by Names, Places, Topics, Book Reviews and Mentions, as well as Feature Articles. The creation of the index, which covers our newsletters published from 1999 through 2021, was the inspiration of Zoe Lappin, current member and past president. We will be forever grateful for Zoe’s decision to share her time and talents in creating these indexes for the benefit of our members and others involved in British Isles family research. The index is fully searchable using the search option in your PDF document viewer.
